Enhanced PlutoSDR Development Board | Gigabit Ethernet | Zynq XC7Z020 | 1GB DDR

This SDR development board is an enhanced version of the official PlutoSDR, redesigned for higher performance, expanded interfaces, and advanced RF capability. It targets professional SDR, RF, and FPGA bare-metal development scenarios, delivering improved bandwidth, clocking flexibility, and output power.

Key Differences vs Official PlutoSDR

Gigabit Ethernet	Added Gigabit Ethernet port, enabling part of the ZedBoard + FMCOMMS2/3 functionality. Reference firmware is provided; note that this firmware does not support USB.
JTAG Interface	Added JTAG via USB, supporting power supply, FPGA debugging, and serial communication. In factory firmware, this JTAG interface outputs boot logs and is also used for Ethernet IP configuration, making it ideal for bare-metal driver development.
Main SoC Upgrade	Replaced the original XC7Z010-CLG225 with XC7Z020-CLG400, significantly improving FPGA logic resources and processing capability.
Memory Capacity	DDR memory upgraded to 1GB.
RF Channel Expansion	RF interfaces expose dual transmit and dual receive (2×2). The original firmware is unlocked to operate in AD9361-compatible mode.
Clock Interfaces	Added external local oscillator (LO) input and reference clock input for high-precision synchronization.
GPIO Expansion	Multiple GPIOs are exposed for user-defined extensions and custom peripheral control.
RF Performance	RF section is strictly simulated with controlled impedance. An added power amplifier (PA) increases output power for demanding RF applications.
