📅 Return Window
- We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for eligible items.
- EU Consumers: In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you retain the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without providing any reason.
Beyond the mandatory 14-day cooling-off period, we voluntarily extend our return window to a total of 30 days for all eligible items, allowing EU customers additional flexibility
✅ Return Conditions
To be eligible, your item must meet all of the following:
- Unopened, unused, and in original condition with all packaging, labels, and accessories.
- No signs of soldering, plugging or modification — especially for PCBs and IC modules.
- Includes original invoice or order number.
- Not damaged due to mishandling or environmental exposure (e.g., ESD, moisture).
❌ Items showing use, solder marks, or physical damage will be rejected.
⚠️ Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
The following items cannot be returned unless defective or incorrect:
- Custom or made-to-order PCBs, FPGA boards, or embedded systems
- Software licenses, firmware keys, or digital downloads
- ESD-sensitive components (once sealed bag is opened)
- Bulk electronic components (resistors, capacitors, reels)
🔄 Return Process
- Contact us at support@yantechlab.com with your order number and reason.
- Receive an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization). Do not ship without it.
- Pack the item securely — use anti-static bags for sensitive electronics.
- Ship back via trackable courier. Keep the tracking number.
- We inspect upon arrival. If approved, your refund is processed within 5–7 business days.
💳 Refund Details
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (allow 3–10 business days for bank/PayPal processing).
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- If the item fails inspection, we’ll contact you to arrange return shipment or disposal.
🛠 Quality Issues or Wrong Item?
If your product is:
- Defective, damaged in transit, or not as described
- Sent incorrectly from our warehouse
We’ll cover return shipping, offer a full refund, replacement, or repair, and may request photos/videos for verification.
🌍 International Returns (US & EU)
We support local return hubs in:
- United States: CA or NJ fulfillment centers
- European Union: DE/NL regional drop-off points (lower cost & faster processing)
Please specify your country when requesting a return — we’ll assign the nearest location.
Note: Do not mark returns as "gift" or undervalue on customs forms. This may delay processing.
